Java Institute

Brief Description of the Java Institute Advanced Technology

The java Institute for Advance Technology is the one and only educational institute to introduce “Consciousness Based Education” for the students of Sri Lanka.

The purpose of education is the full development of human life but it is a well-known fact that the dramatic rise of classroom stress fuels widespread problems in education including depression, anxiety and poor academic achievement. As the ability of perception depends on the level of consciousness, certain students find it extremely stressful to learn certain subjects. The only way to reduce the stress in learning is to broaden the student because gaining knowledge is impossible without self-understanding. Meditation is a proven technique by neuroscience research to manage and control stress level while helping students achieve a steady state of mind that will help them to study productivity.

Moreover, numerous research studies have identified that meditation offers significant benefits for students engaged in their academic activities as it brings about an enhanced level of brain functioning while improving creativity, intelligence, the ability to focus and providing better health.

We have experienced that the scientifically proven meditation techniques have helped our students to develop their total potential to achieve success in their education and personal life and also to face day-to-day challenges with fruitful levels of alertness.

JRIRC Java Robotics and Intelligence Systems Research Center(JRIRC)

The Java Robotics and Intelligence Research Center is an Institute that interconnects software engineers, electronic engineers, mechanical engineers, and artificial intelligence in order to provide a complete technical solution for any industry that has been created by mankind, and these industries could be medicine, military, space, science, economics, or arts.

The research engineers who are conducting researches at the JRIRC are highly trained in all the above mentioned technologies.
The next era of the world, which is the evolution and utilization of advanced technology, emphasis that no technology can exist without each other. The JRIRC enables its engineers to engage in research that combines these different kinds of technologies together. The sole purpose of the JRIRC is to create a scientist who does not operate with any technical boundary.
The JRIRC has a scientific plan for this purpose: it commences studies not from the graduate students but from teenagers as creating a scientist cannot be accomplished in a single day; it is a lifelong process which is quite difficult to accomplish.
The JRIRC has a scientific methodology which involved long durations of time and the Institute is spreading the seed which contains the features of a scientist among the society. These seeds will be planted in the mind-sets of young citizens of the nation and gradually their minds and hearts will accomplish the task of creating proficient scientists naturally.

Web Technology Research Center

The Web Technology Research Centre of the Java Institute for Advanced Technology is the leading research center for Software Engineering Technologies. At present a number of software engineers engage in several researches in the WTRC and there are four different categories of projects conducted.

The software engineers of the Internal Research section of the WTRC is constantly conducting research on Software Engineering Technology Advancement. The Panel of Engineers of the Internal Research section consists of highly skilled and enthusiastic software engineers as well as other professionals who do not belong to the field of software engineering but who are keen on the subject of software engineering.

The WTRC provides the final year of its Software Engineering Programme for the students who have completed the PCJT Software Engineering Degree at the Java Institute for Advanced Technology. Today, it is very common for universities and certain tertiary educational institutions to offer special degree programmes.

The Java Institute for Advanced Technology also offers special degree programmes for our PCJT software engineering graduates in order to ensure that they obtain all the required qualifications for their Bachelor Degree.

However, there is a slight difference between the other special degrees and the PCJT Software Engineering degree as they need to complete a research within one single year in one of the Research Centers of the Institute. The students of the PCJT can obtain a special software engineering recognition from the WTRC and become graduates.

The students willing to acquire knowledge and skills in the field of Micro Technology can join the one year programme provided by the JRIRC.

The WTRC has opened its doors for software engineers who are eager to carry out researchers pertaining to the software engineering field and these engineers are carefully selected from the students who have completed the PCJT by the selection board of the WTRC.

At a time when all the systems of the world are being computerized, Software Engineering is a universal technology which is applicable to most of the human made sectors of the universe such as Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics, Social Science, Military Science, and Space Science.

However, unfortunately we observe an enormous gap between Software Engineering and the above mentioned sectors.

This vacuum between Software Engineering and the other sciences, arts, and technologies brings about a de-acceleration of the evolvement of science.

The WTRC are engaged in a process of research to discover the possibilities of bridging the gap between Software Engineering and the outside world. These findings will be seen with our students, our nation, as well as within our global community.

Scholarship Program

PCJT Software Engineer

PCJT is a high-end Java training program that directs students towards a three year Bachelor’s level qualification. But, the uniqueness of this program is that students gain the ability to develop software on their own just as they complete the first 6 months of the training. Also the knowledge of students is imparted with various application programing

languages such as C, C++, PHP, C#, ASP.NET, VB, Android and Various web development languages to enhance their programming skills and also to improve management skills -Software Engineering, Project Management. Therefore, PCJT students have sufficient skills to earn a high income after the initial 6 months, by selling their own developed software or by getting employed part time.
working experience are assured to earn over Rs. 100,000 income per moth.
PCJT Software Engineers of Java Institute Recognized for Post Graduate Studies in foreign Universities

Today PCJT Software Engineer graduate level qualification is fully recognized among some of the leading universities in the UK and New Zealand. This phenomenon facilitates our young PCJT Software Engineers to complete their Masters at those universities even before the age of 20 years saving a huge amount of parents’ hardly saved money. Now students can complete graduate level qualification fully in Sri Lanka and attend on Masters Level in UK and New Zealand universities. Masters level students are provided more provision to earn money while learning than the undergraduate students in those countries. Skilled PCJT Software Engineers need not to do odd jobs while they are studying as they can attend on software development part time during their masters degree program.

The Youngest MSc. Graduate in Sri Lanka..
For a student to complete the MSc. qualification at least he should wait till the age of 24 according to the Sri Lankan higher education system. But Java Institute was capable to produce the youngest MSc. holder of Sri Lanka. Not only Rajitha Siriwardena completed PCJT Software Engineer graduate level qualification but also he completed his MSc. before the age of 20. He explained his achievement in his own words.
